Our Story
Named for a Mother,
Made with Love
In 1999, Rosa Gaeta opened the doors of her panadería with a simple dream: to share the flavors of her childhood and honor the woman who first taught her to bake — her mother, Inés.
What began as a small neighborhood bakery on the west side of Indianapolis has grown into a beloved institution across two locations — but the heart has never changed. Every concha is shaped by hand, every tres leches cake is soaked just right, and every tamale is made fresh each morning.
For more than 25 years, Mamá Inés has been the place Indianapolis families turn to for quinceañera cakes, birthday celebrations, holiday tamales, and the simple pleasure of a warm concha with a cup of thick Mexican hot chocolate.
